Choosing the right paint color can be extremely daunting for many people. Let Laurie or Julia use their professional artist's eye to help you avoid unnecessary mistakes and achieve the perfect look and feel. Interior color scheme or Exterior color scheme; Residential or Commercial. If the home is currently furnished, there is nothing you need to do to prepare. Just give your design consultant a quick tour, tell her how you want to the rooms to feel, and she translates that into a personalized paint color scheme, for as many rooms as needed. The color consultation is fun and painless. On that same day, you'll receive an itemized room-by-room written paint color plan. You'll love your colors!

Your color selections can make or break the outcome. Maybe your project is the exterior; Getting new siding, or a new roof? Do you need an extra pair of eyes and advice on making color & design selections? Bring the duo design team of Laurie and Julia in when you're overwhelmed and confused. A brainstorm session with both designers is a synergistic collaborative experience. It helps you to see new creative and clever solutions. Or bring them in for their opinion to get confirmation when you've come home from the showroom and feel overwhelmed by your flooring samples, countertop samples, etc. With a quick tour of your home's interior (or exterior), they can pick up on subtle architectural features and your style. They create the result of a seamless update by skillfully coordinating the new materials with the existing. Are you stumped with how and where to hang your wall art, or how to artfully arrange your decor, or where to place furniture to best suit your space? Our crew comes to your home and brings all the necessary tools and equipment to get the job done! While at your home, your designers will work with you to identify the design goals. The crew rolls up their sleeves and get to work! They will do what is needed such as rearrange furniture and accessories and hang pictures, even in hard-to-reach areas such as the stairway! They will revitalize one room, or your entire home. While in your home your designers are also available to advise on paint colors, offer creative advice, share industry tips, and more.

What to Expect
Once you make the decision to reach out to Laurie Lundgren Color & Design you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing you'll be in good hands. You'll have expert help in making those difficult and important color decisions. You get to rent their creativity! And because Laurie and Julia are not salespeople, they do not "sell" you anything. They are your design guides and have only your best interest in mind.
Our design team consists of two designers. As soon as you meet your designer, you can't help but notice their kindness, creativity, and vision. Laurie and Julia truly love working with clients to design the perfect color and design plan for you. Each of our designers has a knack for decorating with a creative, yet practical, money-saving approach. For a paint color consultation, you will usually work with Julia. For other projects, such as a home refresh, a remodel, or a new build you will work with both Laurie and Julia as a design team. It is a synergistic brainstorm session that produces concrete color and design decisions.
Your designer(s) will arrive at your home. Your in-home color & design consultation will consist of your designer asking some casual questions about your goals for your home. Nothing intimidating here! You will have a chat while you give a tour through the areas of your for which you want guidance. Your design consultant is a lot like a translator or an interpreter; She will be listening carefully to the challenges you've shared, and during the visit, she'll begin translating those issues into a creative a solution for you, personally tailored to your needs.
Immediately following the tour, while still at your home, your designer will take a short time to create a plan for you and then will present yourr color and design recommendations. She will carefully help you come to the decisions that feel right to you. Your in-home consultation is fun, stress-free, and provides you with a detailed room-by-room written plan of all of your paint color selections and any other design advice which may have been given.
